Nothing is more artistically stimulating for me than the blank canvas or the empty paper. The impulsion to make marks to express a vision is immense. There is little in the world that is not visually fascinating when viewed from the correct standpoint.

My inspiration is informed by history and focused by current times. 

I am currently working on a series of large figurative oils with a narrative focused on the gap between dreams and waking. Inspired by literature and the landscape.
